The woman in the pink velvet dress is fighting so hard but losing the battle. Her desperation in Bloom in Exile is palpable. She is screaming, pulling at his suit, but he is like a stone wall. It is a tragic depiction of a family falling apart where the child pays the highest price. My heart goes out to her character.
