The moment the demon realized his true form was the platform itself was mind-blowing. His face when he got roasted by the bear was pure satisfaction. The way the floor cracked and fire erupted around the demon was visually stunning. It felt like a high-budget movie scene. The smoke effects and the lighting shifts really sell the danger. I am impressed by the quality of animation here. It makes the horror elements feel so much more real and impactful.
Nurse Character Is Underrated
The nurse stands so calmly while all this chaos happens. She doesn't panic at all. Her presence adds a nice balance to the frantic energy of the guy and the creepy girl. I wonder what her backstory is. Horror Game? I Thought It Was a Dating Sim! hints at deeper lore with every silent glance.
Demon Design Is Cool
Can we appreciate the villain design? The horns, the cloak, the glowing red eyes. He looks like a final boss. Even though he loses, his entrance was menacing. The contrast between his dark form and the bright explosion makes for a great visual. Definitely one of the better antagonists I have seen recently.
Ending Left Me Wanting More
Just when the demon is defeated, the stairs look normal again but with embers floating. It feels like the danger isn't fully gone. The atmosphere remains eerie. I need to know what happens next immediately. Horror Game? I Thought It Was a Dating Sim! leaves you on such a good cliffhanger.
