The guy in the black patterned outfit is so annoying with his smug grin, but that makes his eventual defeat even better. He clearly underestimated the girls because of their appearance. It is satisfying to see him get kicked across the courtyard. This show knows how to build hate for the antagonist effectively.
The bond between the two female leads is the heart of this scene. Seeing the one in green get hurt made me so angry, but her friend stepping up was iconic. They fight as a team which is rare in these types of shows. Little Kung Fu Queen really emphasizes loyalty and sisterhood amidst the violence.
The fight scenes are surprisingly well executed for a short format. The camera angles capture the speed of the kicks and punches perfectly. When the girl in the skirt does that spinning kick, it looks so powerful. The sound design adds to the impact of every hit. Truly impressive stunt work here.
There is nothing better than seeing a bully get taken down a peg. The villain thought he could push people around but he met his match. The expression on his face when he got hit was priceless. Little Kung Fu Queen provides such good catharsis for anyone who loves seeing justice served quickly.
I love how the costumes reflect the characters' personalities. The traditional outfits look authentic yet allow for full range of motion during the fights. The colors contrast nicely between the heroes and the villain. It adds a visual flair to the action sequences that makes them pop on screen.
