The opening scene with the red sky really set the tone for everything. Watching civilians run from those tentacle monsters was intense. You can feel the desperation in the air. It reminds me of the chaos in Your Beasts Are Cute. Mine Are NOT. where nothing is safe. The animation quality during the panic scenes is top notch.
That fight inside the room was insane. The white-haired warrior taking on the fiery monkey beast showed real skill. Every punch landed with impact. I loved how the flames lit up the dark room. It felt like a boss battle come to life. Definitely a highlight reel moment for me while bingeing on netshort.
The green-armored ally has such a striking design. Her interaction with the black-haired warrior hints at a deep bond. When she looked shocked at the tree monster, I felt that fear too. The detail on her outfit is amazing. Stories like Your Beasts Are Cute. Mine Are NOT. always have the best character designs.
The villains wearing white with that red eye symbol are terrifying. They move like a coordinated unit. Seeing them drag people away added so much tension. The large armored warrior looked especially menacing. It creates a real sense of threat throughout the episode. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Did not expect a giant armored panda to show up. The red glowing marks on its fur looked deadly. It smashed through the wall like it was nothing. The sound design must be incredible because I could feel the impact. These creatures are way scarier than anything in Your Beasts Are Cute. Mine Are NOT. though.
